Functional Health and Sports Chiropractic is now open inside Empire Fitness.
Jill Harbin, DC, BS, MAEd specializes not only in conditions related to the neck and back, but to all of the joints and related soft tissues and nerves associated with these areas of the body. She is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, as well as Full Body certified in Active Release Technique (ART). ART is a soft tissue management system that treats and prevents problems that can occur with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Other techniques and procedures that are provided include Cox Flexion Distraction for lumbar and cervical disc issues, Thompson, Diversified, and Activator adjusting methods, Applied Kinesiology muscle testing and pain relief techniques, electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, heat, ice, and therapeutic exercise and stretching.
